Guess what!? It is June, JUNE! In only 18 short school days my very first year of teaching is going to be done! When I look back at the year it was incredibly busy and, at times, overwhelming & stressful. Yet, on the other-hand, the year went by insanely fast and was full of amazing moments. It is definitely true what they say,"If you love your job, it never feels like work" and I couldn't be happier to have found a career that has not felt like work once!

I smiled when I read your guilty pleasure! I just started watching Gossip Girl on Netflix because my girls said it is a must. 46 and watching Gossip Girl, lol. I just finished Vampire Diaries, so I guess I am young at heart. Teenage angst is awesome! Landscaping sounds like fun, we are in need of some new stuff here too. The heat in Florida kills everything this time of year!

It is hard to not love those shows, they are perfect to have in the background while marking! I've never watched Gossip Girl but have watched a few seasons of Vampire Diaries and definitely got addicted!
DeleteCongrats on surviving your first year! It gets a LITTLE easier from this point forward--but always as rewarding!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am hoping next year is a bit more streamlined than this one but I know that something will always come up :)
DeleteCongrats, Ms. L, on (almost) finishing your first year!
ReplyDeleteBTW, your first picture isn't showing on your blog... I'd love to see the view out your window... Sounds lovely!
I'm so glad to be following a new upper grade blog. WooHoo!

Finding JOY in 6th Grade
Thanks Kim! I am not sure what is wrong with the pictures but someone else let me know that they weren't showing as well :( They show up on my computer so I am not exactly sure how to go about reformatting them in order to make them accessible.
DeleteThank you for following and your support :)
