March Currently
Guess what!? March marks the month where I am officially DONE my classes at university. I am looking forward to getting back into the classroom for student teaching and then applying for teaching positions, yay! I just can't believe that after six years I am finally at a place where I can be applying for a job that will actually turn into my career. After six years, my fiance and I are no longer moving back and forth between university and our home. After six years we can now begin the rest of our lives!

Second Grade is Out of This World!
Thanks Hilary! It is definitely a relief to be moving from a student role into the teacher role. Although, I guess teachers are life long students anyway! Thank you for visiting :)
DeleteHey - you aren't done yet!! 2 more I4Ed classes!!
ReplyDeleteHaha I said March is the month where I am finished, I didn't say I was done right this second :)
DeleteYay for being done school! I have just gone back to work on my Resource/Special Ed. certification. So I hope to know how you feel sometime. Good luck on the job search, we can look together!

Second Grade Nest
It seems like we've reached the "baby age" Jessica! It is definitely fun having a lot of little ones around to spoil :) Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting.
DeleteI finished student teaching last May and am in the last semester of being a first year teacher! Teaching is so exciting to me! I love my time in the classroom! Hooray for being "done." I'm also looking for a job! I moved away from my family and friends and cannot pay my bills where I moved to! So we are moving back 300+ miles to where we own a house in a community my children love. I hope your search goes well! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on making it through your first year Carrie! I can't wait to be where you are and have my own classroom. I hope you are able to find a job back in your original community. Your first year sounds like an adventure but I'm sure it was full of great memories and experiences.
DeleteBest of luck with everything, I'm crossing my fingers for both of us :)
Congrats on finishing up your classes this month and good luck with your student teaching!
ReplyDeleteThank you Leslie!
DeleteCongratulations, Kirsten! Best wishes on your job search!
