Just realized we had a lot of .ca links and changed them to .com
ReplyDeleteThats so weird, the .ca ones are what shows up for me when I visit the blog. Maybe because I am in Canada?
DeleteGreat list! Thanks for working so hard on this :)

Fun in Room 4B
Thanks Elizabeth! It is time consuming (especially in the summer!) but I really enjoy it, I think we all do, so it was no problem at all :)
DeleteWow, that's a real undertaking! You should add that to your resume... it will surely be a great resource for teachers who are looking for information about Whole Brain Teaching!
ReplyDeleteThanks Angel, you are always so supportive! I do plan on including it next year when I am applying for teaching jobs. Hopefully I can say I am a Certified Whole Brain Teaching Instructor by that point too :)
DeleteThank you so much. As a new 5th grade teacher and WBT newbie, your list just saved me about 20 hours in research!!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Kathy!! Have you joined up on the WBT Forum yet? It is the perfect place to get all your questions answered.
DeleteIf you need anything let me know, you will love WBT so much!
Thanks for this website. I just learned about WBT this week, and I'm very excited to begin using it this fall. I teach 8th grade Algebra and would love to be directed as to how Algebra teachers are using this to teach different algebraic concepts in the classroom. - Laura
ReplyDeleteNo problem Laura! I commented on your question about gestures as well and posted some links to some great videos for me. You will love WBT, it is so much fun!
DeleteHave you linked up on the WBT Forum yet? You can network with other people using WBT in high school, specifically math. Here are some links I found fast from forum threads regarding math:

http://wholebrainteaching.com/Critical-Thinking/4944-Critical-thinking-in-math.html#4944

Wow, thanks for compiling this list! I've only started blogging about WBT today, although I've been reading others blog posts for a few months now. I wish their were more Canadians I can follow, but I'll settle for finding teachers at my ideal grade level instead.
ReplyDeleteReading with Mrs. D
No problem Mrs D, welcome to the WBT blogging world! So exciting to find another Canadian WBT-enthusiast, we are definitely a dime a dozen.
DeleteI am checking out your blog now and can't wait to read through your posts :)
